Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University

We are extremely proud of the achievements and ongoing work of the faculty, staff and students performing research on our campus and internationally with investigators from other universities, teaching hospitals and industry.

Founded in 1978 in North Grafton, Mass., Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University is internationally esteemed for academic programs that impact society and the practice of veterinary medicine; seven teaching hospitals and clinics that combined log more than 80,000 animal cases each year; and groundbreaking research that benefits animal, human, and environmental health.

From start-ups to large pharmaceutical companies, we assist sponsors with model development, discovery, and proof-of-concept studies for pre-clinical and clinical testing of novel compounds and medical devices in a wide array of species. We can also collaborate as subcontractors on a company’s SBIR or STRR proposal. We have the technology, experts, resources, and services to effectively support diverse projects.
